a place that i love is moving. starting a new beginning. stepping out into a new space and taking a risk. the old was familar and lovely and warm but now it is time for a change.

i feel like i can relate.

dear autumn. the only reason why i don't like you is because you bring winter. you tease me with these beautiful fall colors. the trees take on a beauty that is breathtaking. it is like they awaken and become alive. all their beauty can be seen in just those few days where the sun hits so brilliantly on them and the trees look ablaze. but it does not last. it is quick and fleeting. the colors change to a dullness and all that is left is the leaves on ground needing to be raked. oh you bring such darkness. the cold. the long dreary days. and i find myself longing for the warmth of the sun. so i prepare myself for what is to come.

sometimes we just have bad days. plan and simple.

I took a bit of a vacation. Now it is back to the grind. The unknown. The reality that I have no idea which direction I am going.

I believe that limitation is the springboard to creativity. where endless possibility may suffocate ideas or lead us into copying what others have done due to fearing the unknown. Granted, it doesn't have to. How do we cultivate spaces & relationships...so they spark imagination & fuel new life within our communities? what are our limitations & how can we use those to problem solve? to guide our dreams? to find inspiration?
